P.E. Kit
All children should come to school with the correct P.E. kit on the days their class has P.E. This should include:
- A plain white T-shirt
- Navy shorts or jogging bottoms or leggings
- Suitable footwear for physical activities
During colder months, children may wear their school jumpers for P.E lessons.
Hair and Jewellery
For safety reasons hair which is shoulder length or longer must be tied back for all P.E. lessons.
All jewellery, including earrings, must be removed before the lesson. If earrings cannot be removed independently, we recommend that they are taken out before school on P.E. days. Alternatively, we can provide children with microporous tape if needed.
Staff are not permitted to remove earrings, so it is important this is done at home.
Gymnastics Lessons
During gymnastics sessions, children will be using mats and apparatus. For safety and to allow better grip and control, all children will be required to remove shoes and socks when working on the mats.
These expectations help us maintain a safe learning environment and ensure that all pupils can participate confidently in their P.E. Lessons.
