zumbathon! 25th January 2020

Come and join us for the 3rd annual Zumbathon and enjoy a family-friendly event in the Latin way! Raise your heart rates and lots of cash for the Bilingual Primary School..

In 2019, over 150 adults took part in our BPS Charity Zumbathon, where we raised an incredible amount for the Bilingual Primary School. Our amazing and talented parents and Zumba experts Federico and Claudia are planning for this one to be bigger and better. It doesn’t matter if you have two left feet and don’t know the choreography, what matters most is that you enjoy yourself, the music and be part of this fun event. Open to all fitness levels - no dance or Zumba experience necessary.

Venue: BHASVIC, Sports Hall, Old Shoreham Road (Car Park Entrance), Hove, BN3 6EG. Free parking!

Times: Arrive: 2.45pm for 3pm start : Ends: 5.00pm.

Price: Adult Tickets: £10 inc glow wrist band. Child Tickets: £2.50 inc. glow wrist band (conditions apply see below)

This is a non-profit making event to raise money for Bilingual Primary School, project tbc.
Wear gym wear. There is a changing room. You are welcome to top up your water bottles or purchase bottled water.

Conditions of purchasing a Children’s Ticket - All children must dance next to their parent/carer at the back of the hall and at no time be left unsupervised. If your child becomes tired parents/carers may sit with them in the viewing area upstairs or at the side of the hall. This worked well last year as previously, there were a number of unsupervised children running around the building. This is unsafe and could result in an accident. Members of the PTA will not be on hand to supervise.

Wowo Camp - 5th-7th June 2020

Come and join us for the 8th annual family camping trip to Wowo, which has been booked for the weekend of 5th - 7th June 2020. There is space for up to 70 families.

This is a chance for us to relax around the campfire and let the kids free. It is a beautiful and quite a comfortable campsite with glamping and camping options. There's even a pizza van or you can cook over an open fire. We will set up a volleyball court (again) with prizes, and if anyone else wants to organise something specific that's great. Wowo has various paid woodland workshops you can book the kids on, and several offerings you can hire out during your stay including tug of war rope, badminton sets, large BBQs etc. There is also a health spa and hot tub you can use.

Last year we had 70 school families in the top field at Wowo campsite and we hope to do the same again.

To ensure everyone in our group is happy, please read and agree to the camp rules: http://www.wowo.co.uk/booking/booking-page.html

To book Bookings must be made by 1st March. If you want to glamp, please book NOW to avoid disappointment.
