WOWO - Summer 2019

The WOWO school camp has been confirmed for June 7th -9th 2019  weekend, for up to  70 families.

For those new to the school, we have a camping weekend every year (this is the 7th year).  A chance for us to relax around the campfire and let the kids free. It is a beautiful and quite a comfortable campsite with glamping and camping options. There's even a pizza van or you can cook over an open fire. Last year we had 70 school families in the top field at Wowo campsite and we hope to do the same again.

To ensure everyone in our group is happy we need to follow the camp rules. These include: no noise after 11pm, no driving after dark, no amplified music (acoustic only). Here is link to them http://www.wowo.co.uk/booking/booking-page.html

Please make sure you have read these and are happy to abide by them before signing up for the camp.

You Must book by the 1st of March. However, if you want to glamp, book NOW to avoid disappointment! Wowo will hold camping options for our group until the 15th January. So if you want to glamp please phone to book and say you are part of the Biingual group. The glamping options go quickly.

There will be a volleyball tournament (again) with prizes. If anyone else wants to organise something specific that's great. If not that's also fine. It's nice too not to follow a schedule. Wowo has various paid activities you can book the kids on to, but from experience they seem to do pretty well without them. Book early for these activities to avoid disappointment (spaces go quickly).

Wowo has several offerings you can hire out during your stay. Tug of war rope, badminton sets, large BBQ’s, large pots (similar to their soup pots), email us for a full list and how to book the items. There is also a health spa and hot tub you can use.

For more camp information, check out the WOWO website, ask on the school facebook page or in the last instance email me jaime.bainbridge@gmail.com. Do not contact the school. See you there! Jaime Bainbridge (mum of Carla YR, Marcus Y2, & Lewis Y6)
